Jersey diner in Dayton

Food not good. Over priced for what i believe to be an under cooked frozen burger patty and lettuce that was filthy and wilted. Dont bother eatting coleslaw must be for looks because its horrible. Service is nice though

Classic 50's diner atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great and served promptly.

Classic Diner ambience with quality cuisine! Although there is an extensive menu, I opted to try some Greek specialties. I ordered the Mousakka. It was exquisite! Home made flaky crust was layered with nicely spiced ground lamb, zesty strips of eggplant, and potatoes. It was held together with a pleasant bechemel. The dish came with a trip to the salad bar. I assembled a fine Greek style salad replete with a stunning hummus, fresh greens, potato salad, and even stuffed grape leaves. I had the best bread pudding of my life. Perfect balance of creamy custard and angel light bread.

Best Old Fashioned, Traditional Home-town American, 1950's Southern Jersey Feel in the Garden State. We love the genuine service! I go there for the corn muffins, excellent coffee and Biscuits 'n sausage gravy! "Saved to GPS!"

This is a great diner. Burgers are good grilled cheese is good, and that is important diner food! Prices are pretty competitive with surrounding restaurants and diners, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Also there is a ton of diner nostalgia hanging on the walls which my kids love!

Really great food & service. Food made in house. Roast beast great as were the mashed. Salad bar has a good selection. Desert also great. Great value.

For a diner where you can't go wrong. Just ask for Chris! He will make sure you're stay is perfect. Though it probably will be any way. These are a bunch of seasoned pros who want you to enjoy your meal and come back again. I have been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner,& evening dinner parties in their backroom....I have sent one plate back to the kitchen. It was returned to me to perfection and removed from the bill for my inconvenience!! I can't brag about this little gem enough. And yes handicapped parking and restrooms are available.

01/15/20....after walking to the DMV up the road, and back to the Shipper across the street from this Diner, I stopped first to order 3 bacon n egg sandwiches on white toast, delicious!

Wow. Random stop on my drive home. Fantastic food! Lots of flavor in everything. Great service. We'll be back!

Stopped on for lunch with my daughter and grandson. Great service, large menu, good food. Love the 50's feel of the place.

This place is cute and has a nice 50s vibe, but our food was terrible. I had on open faced turkey and it was two triangles of dried out white bread with super dry turkey on top with some thick sludge yellow gravy. My husband had the meat loaf it looked like it came from a. Package and the brown gravy was disgusting. We went there because it had such great reviews. Very disappointing.

This spot clearly knows how to satisfy their clients. Always with a very friendly attitude. The food is reasonably priced, constantly flavorful and neat.

Quality food. Value prices. Burgers cooked well. Fries are crispy. Rice pudding seems homemade.

Service was great. We went for a brunch with a group of ladies. The private room is very nice and comfy. The food was really good , so was the coffee. We had a lovely time.

Love this place. The atmosphere is outstanding. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and attentive. There is a waiter there named Mike! He should be in the waiters hall of fame if there was such a place . He never gets an order wrong . Always comes by and asks if everything was okay! Very nice person to deal with as well. If you order steak he will come by and ask if the steak was cooked to my likings . Highly recommend this place to anyone. I have been there with my girlfriend for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Never a disappointment. They make the best blueberry pancakes using fresh blueberries. Only once they ran out of blueberries so I ordered strawberry pancakes . Fresh strawberries is what they used. Found this gem of a diner. Many diners in the area have changed, like Americana diner in east windsor or skylark up in Edison, but this diner has the traditional items and great taste. Many omelette choices also. Prices are decent. My two boys and I finished almost everything everything.

Always good place to go especially for breakfast. The owner Chris is great at making you comfortable or for telling a good or funny story. You won't be disappointed.

The food was delicious like always ... The workers have great personalities and always on top of your drinks or anything you needed. Oh and the best part of my evening was the piece of cannoli cake that I had it was amazing !!

Cozy, nice and affordable.Got some entertainment with the waitress dancing. Places like those are rare and worth appreciating.

Dayton diner consistently has great food and low prices. Their gyro is delicious and chipped beef and eggs Benedict is to die for.

This place looks like someone took a box of TV and hurled it at an Airstream RV. That being said, the food and the service were pretty fantastic. This is probably the best diner food I've had in a 10 mile radius. The spinach and feta omelette had whole leaf spinach and actual good feta, the burger was thick and well cooked. The grilled chicken was actually good and not dry. They even have some reasonably health conscious choices, we were able to swap out potato for griddled tomato slices. I'll definitely be returning to this as a go to diner.

Very nice 50’s style diner. Good service. Daily specials and the price is right. Good food, soups and big servings. Btw.. one of the best matzoh ball soups ever, anywhere! :-)

Seems Italian, had the best turkey burger ever in my life.

Order was wrong no bacon, cheese not even melted on eggs which were undercooked.

This place really does have good service and good food great atmosphere and employees are very friendly. Food is reasonably priced
